o All works carried out to City of Sydney Council specifications
o Extensive traffic/pedestrian management control measures including night shift works in compliance with Road Occupancy License
o Very logistically challenging project regarding construction vehicle movements –very tight working areas with special attention to pedestrian and traffic safety
o Demolition of existing pavements/footpaths etc
o Demolition of suspended slab over pocket park including 960m3 void filling
(in layers over 7 pours) involving special self leveling 10MPa grout mix devised in conjunction with Metromix concrete
o Subgrade preparation including blinding concrete for new granite paving works
o Structural footings in pocket park & capping beam at George St boundary line
o Extensive adjustment of service lids to new levels
o Adjustment of 2 major Ausgrid manholes (main feed city cables) to specialized procedures and under strict Ausgrid representative supervision
o New Granite Kerbing to Council Specifications to George St & Underwood St
o Asphalt re-sheet works to Underwood Street, Dalley Street and Crane Lane
